K-pop group Katseye opens the North American leg of its Wildworld Tour with a show at the Kaseya Center on Tuesday, and the members say South Florida fans should expect plenty of movement.
The group said it has rehearsed the choreography for a long time and described the routines as very high energy. Members also want the concert to offer a closer look at who they are as individuals, beyond the dance numbers.
Member Lara Raj said the show is built around a magical, playful world. She described the group’s new music as an evolution, with more of the members’ personal input than in earlier releases. Sophia Laforteza pointed to the single “Pinky Up” as evidence that the group is still finding its identity.
Daniela Avanzini said performing on stage remains the reminder of why the members chose this career. She described the stage as the place that grounds her and reminds her that the work is a dream.
