The Wick Theatre and Costume Museum in Boca Raton is staging Mel Brooks’ musical comedy “Young Frankenstein” as the opening production of its 13th season. The show runs Oct. 8 through Nov. 1, 2026, and single tickets are now on sale.
The story follows Frederick Frankenstein, who inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania and, with help from his assistant Igor and lab technician Inga, takes up his grandfather’s work. Songs include “The Transylvania Mania” and “He Vas My Boyfriend.”
Aaron Atkinson plays Frederick, with Corey Vega as Igor and Katie DeRosa Tango as Inga. Leah Sessa plays Elizabeth, and Thomas Porat plays the Monster. Norb Joerder directs, Bobby Peaco is musical director and Robert Abdoo choreographs.
Marilynn A. Wick, managing executive producer of the theater, said the season opener was chosen for its big laughs and large production numbers.
The theater is at 7901 North Federal Highway. Tickets are available by calling 561-995-2333 or visiting thewick.org.
