Downtown Hollywood will host its HollyWeird Halloween festival on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., the City of Hollywood said in an Instagram post. Admission is free.

The event will feature costume displays, live music and DJs, and drink specials. Organizers said more than $10,000 in costume contest prizes will be awarded.

Parking will cost a flat $15 during the event at four downtown garages and lots, including the Van Buren Garage at 251 S. 20th Ave., the Radius Garage at 251 N. 19th Ave., the University Station Garage at 2031 Polk St. and the Taylor Street Lot at 1810 Taylor St. The city also reminded drivers that on-street parking Downtown is 50 percent off during October, at $1.50 an hour.

Visitors who want to avoid the cost can park for free at City Hall Circle, 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, and ride a free shuttle Downtown.
