The City of Miramar will host a Homebuyer Purchase Assistance Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 22, starting at 6 p.m. at the Alexandra P. Davis Multi-Service Complex, 6700 Miramar Parkway.
The session covers down payment assistance, closing cost assistance and other help for buyers. Attendance is free, but people must register in advance through an Eventbrite page the city listed in its Instagram post.
The workshop is aimed at residents who are considering buying a first home and want to learn what city-backed programs may be available before they make an offer.
