Tamarac Mayor Michelle J. Gómez and The Lumana Foundation are hosting the Lumana Cup Soccer Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7, starting at 9 a.m. at the Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77th St.
The city’s post says the event will combine soccer with health resources, appearances by medical specialists, food and family entertainment. Organizers say the goal is to support men’s health awareness, early testing and support for people living with chronic illness.
