Spookyville, a Halloween attraction for families, is set to run Oct. 17 through Oct. 31 at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. The event is at the fairgrounds’ Yesteryear Village area, 9067 Southern Blvd.

Organizers are offering safe trick-or-treating, a train and other rides aimed at kids age 10 and under. Vendors, food for purchase, activities and live entertainment are also on the schedule. A costume parade is planned for each Sunday during the run.

Tickets are sold online and range from $10 to $15. Children age 2 and under get in free. Parking is free.

Families can find posted times and more details at southfloridafair.com/spookyville. The event is a good option for parents looking for a daytime or early-evening outing with younger children during the final two weeks of October, when many Palm Beach County Halloween events are taking place.
