The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay has released its 2026-2027 performance season, a mix of Latin jazz, rock, country, dance, family shows and theater. Tickets are available at MossCenter.org.
The season kicks off Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. with the Backyard Bash Season Kickoff Concert. The Legendary Wailers, featuring Julian Junior Marvin, will perform songs such as “Stir It Up” and “Three Little Birds,” with Third World as a special guest. Patrons are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the outdoor show.
Latin jazz headliners include pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, who performs Jan. 9, 2027, and trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, who plays April 10, 2027. Country singer Britnee Kellogg performs Nov. 7, and Duane Betts brings Southern rock to the stage Jan. 15.
Tribute acts fill much of the calendar. ASIA featuring John Payne, The Interactive Beatles Experience, Electric Light Orchestra Experience, Folsom Prison Live! and TUSK, a Fleetwood Mac tribute, are all scheduled. The Amy Winehouse Band closes the rock lineup on April 2, 2027.
The dance series opens with Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami’s 10th anniversary program on Nov. 14, followed by MOMIX Botanica on Nov. 21 and 22. Evidence, A Dance Company and Soles of Duende also perform in early 2027.
Shows run on different dates and times, so residents planning family outings should check the full calendar before buying.
