Mason Hall throws six touchdowns as Monarch routs Olympic Heights 49-0

Monarch High School’s football team beat Olympic Heights Community High School 49-0 on senior night, and quarterback Mason Hall was the standout. Hall did not start, but he came off the bench and threw six touchdown passes.

The Tuffs University commit was among the seniors honored at halftime. Eighteen players were recognized in the ceremony, including Anthony Williams, Sanjae Fisher and Chris Cortinas.

Fisher, White and Cortinas each caught two touchdown passes. Landon Johnson broke a long run for his first touchdown of the season.

Monarch improved to 4-3 with the win. The Knights face No. 1 ranked St. Thomas Aquinas High School, which is 7-0 and has won the last seven state championships, next Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m.
