Dania Beach is hosting a free Oktoberfest Beerfest from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, outside Dania Beach City Hall at 100 W. Dania Beach Boulevard. Admission to the festival is free.

The event features German food, beer and live entertainment from The Polka Brothers band. Visitors can also pick up a free pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, which adds a Halloween touch to the evening.

Beer tastings require a ticket and are limited to ages 21 and older. Tickets cost $50 in advance. Organizers said tickets will also be sold at the door if the event is not sold out.

The festival is part of the city’s Dania After Dark street festival series. It is pet-friendly, and free parking is available.
